He has served as Member of Parliament, Vice President of the National Assembly, and Lord Mayor of Port-Louis. Former editor-in-chief of major Indian Ocean media outlets, including L’Express Madagascar, Jérôme was appointed President of the Mauritius Ports Authority (2023–2024), where he continued to shape strategic infrastructure development.
